The public is invited to attend the Grand Opening of Pop Shops on Main, a unique and inclusive retail marketplace where community members can visit, shop and explore, all year round.

The Grand Opening will take place Thursday, November 18 from 3-4 p.m. located at 10029 Woodinville Drive, Bothell WA (Corner of Main Street and Bothell Way NE - Baskin Robbins Parking Lot).

Complimentary parking is available at Bothell City Hall

Attendees will be the first to step foot inside of Bothell's four newest downtown boutiques, will have the opportunity to meet Pop Shop business owners firsthand and will hear from community leaders about the benefits this program brings to Bothell. Pop Shops on Main was created to provide more opportunities for minority and women-owned businesses, and to bring additional revenue to Bothell's downtown by attracting shoppers and tourists alike.

Current Pop Shop businesses include:

All four Pop Shops will be open year around, Thursday-Sunday from noon-6 p.m.

Businesses were selected by a team of community volunteers and Mercy Corps Northwest for their market readiness and distinct products. Mercy Corps Northwest also provided the entrepreneurs who were chosen with education, tools and microfinancing to help them learn about the market and generate revenue. Pop Shops on Main is funded in part by the Port of Seattle Economic Development Partnership Grant as well as Economic Development and potentially, American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars.
