Bothell Prepared

Where will you be when a disaster happens?

Think about all the places  that you are at often - home, work, school, place of worship, gym, club. How would you react at that place in an earthquake, major storm, or other large scale event where help may not be coming for a while?

Bothell Prepared is a program intended to help our community learn how to respond where they are most likely to be at when something happens. It includes some basic response trainings, what to expect, preparing for your personal needs, and how to work together to make it through. Being prepared before an event can help you get back to normal life faster!

Bothell Prepared training covers: types of hazards likely to happen in Bothell, personal preparedness, communications, public event safety, mental health care, basic disaster medical care.

We can bring the class to your location so your group of people are practicing the skills where they are likely to be using them and can see what it may really look like in that situation. If your group does not have an appropriate place for the class we can host the class and still tailor it what the skills may look like at your location.

Is your business, organization, neighborhood, or group prepared to make it through on your own if a disaster happens?

Professional responders and outside help won't get to everyone right away - learn how to prepare now so you can recover faster, together! Bothell Prepared provides basic preparedness information plus additional topics based on the type of group:

 - are you an employer with a business to get back up to speed?

- a neighborhood that wants to know how to get everyone through together?

- a place of worship, service group, or club interested in knowing what to expect and how to be ready for it?

- a teacher with students interested in disaster safety?
