Hazardous waste can't go in the trash or down the drain and can be harmful to humans, wildlife, and the environment if not disposed of safely. Hazardous products say CAUTION, WARNING, DANGER, or POISON on their labels.
Wastemobile
The Wastemobile is a traveling drop-off site to that provides no-cost, safe disposal for household hazardous waste. Find out what items are accepted and how it works.

Hazardous Waste Facilities
Along with the Wastemobile, you can drop off household hazardous waste products at permanent locations in King County and Snohomish County depending on where you reside.

Bothell residents age 65 and older or with disabilities can call the King County Hazardous Waste Help Line at (206) 296-4692 to check eligibility and schedule a hazardous waste pickup from your home. Find more information and instructions on the King County Hazardous Waste webpage.
