Upcoming Events

Wildest Dreams is a group exhibition at Bothell City Hall Gallery that is curated by Rya Wu and honors immigrant stories through the visual arts. The exhibit opens June 6 and concludes on June 28 when a Closing Celebration takes place from 2-5pm. The Closing Celebration features performances, an open-air market in the City Hall Plaza, and hand-made goods and snacks and is followed by an Artist Panel from 5-6pm moderated by Michelle Villagomez.   • Artist fees for a performance and break dance workshop featuring Soul Revolution: Rhymes, Beats and Dance - This event has already occurred.
  • Lindy Boustedt of First Sight Productions for screening of Echoes of Resilience: Short Films by Incarcerated Youth. Learn more about Lindy's work at: https://sharescreenwriting.com/ - This activity has already occurred.
  • Marketing support for the 2024 Bothell Art Scene Art Walk. A FREE event that combines area businesses with artists for an evening of community fun in celebration of art, music and cultural. These grant-funded walks have already taken place, but new walks not tied to this grant award are scheduled for 2025. 
  • Artist Deepti Agrawal hosts Art Walk in the Woods, a traditional art festival with hands-on visual art opportunities for all ages. Check back soon - this event is scheduled for the summer of 2025.  
  • Artistic services for an African American diaspora event presented by the Washington State Coalition of African American Community Leaders. This event has already occurred. 
  • A "Have You Eaten" exhibit titled "Wildest Dreams" at the gallery space of Bothell City Hall in June 2025.
  • A traditional folk concert featuring cultural elements from Iberian, Ottoman, Balkan, North African, and South American music and song. Date will be selected in August 2025. Check back then for more details. 

The Creative Arts Grant program is a program of work that aligns with the four Strategic Directions of the Bothell City Council’s adopted Cultural Plan.
