This project is a part of Bothell's Pavement Preservation Program. Crews will pave one mile of 228th St. SE between just east of 19th Ave. SE and west of 35th Ave. SE.
Traffic Impacts
Plan ahead for traveling in this area.
Traffic delays during construction when traveling near 228th St. SE from 19th Ave. SE to 35th Ave. SE.
Increased traffic impacts between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. when contractors can reduce traffic flow to one lane with flaggers alternating traffic in both directions.
There will be lane shifts, but one lane open in each direction between 7 a.m. - 9 a.m and 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Schedule
- Final completion of the project is dependent on warmer and drier weather conditions to apply permanent lane markers.
Funding
The City received an $830,000 Surface Transportation Program (STP) grant from the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) for this overlay project.
