Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
Once a project is listed in the TIP, it becomes eligible for inclusion in the City’s CIP, which is updated every two years with our budget adoption. Only TIP projects that are fully or partially funded are included in the CIP. The CIP manages projects that address the construction, repair, maintenance and acquisition of major capital facilities and equipment.
Capital Facilities Plan (CFP)
The CFP is a seven-year comprehensive financial plan and needs assessment that identifies and prioritizes funding for capital improvements like transportation, utilities, parks, and facilities. 51 cents of every dollar Bothell plans to invest in infrastructure until 2021 is funded by non-city resources.
