October is Fire Prevention Month and this year, with so many families spending more time at home, we would like to emphasize the importance of cooking fire safety. Cooking fires are the number one cause of home fires. Stay safe with these tips. We also encourage you to have a home fire escape plan. In a house fire, you may have as little as two minutes or less to safely escape from the time the smoke detectors begin to go off. Get started today.
