Downtown Historic Preservation Code Amendments

The Planning Commission has recommended code amendments to the Downtown Subarea Regulations to strengthen provisions for restoring and preserving historic downtown buildings, especially along Main Street and within the Downtown Special Review Area. Amendments to BMC Title 22, Landmark Preservation

The Landmark Preservation Board (LPB) has recommended the approval of amendments to Title 22, Landmark Preservation. Substantive changes within the proposed amendments include modifications to the Bothell Register designation criteria, historic district nomination procedures and demolition permit requirements for buildings on the Historic Resources Inventory. Limited Parking Reductions & Height Allowances
